Blanca Janet Monzon, LCSW

Janet is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience in mental health, education, and community service. Throughout their career, they have had the privilege of working with diverse communities, particularly communities of color, to support individuals in overcoming challenges and achieving personal growth.

Janet is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions. Their approach is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and a deep respect for the unique experiences each individual brings to therapy. The goal is to help clients build a stronger connection to their authentic selves, ultimately fostering healing, resilience, and well-being.

In their practice, Janet draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including relational therapy, strength-based therapy, and feminist theory, with a focus on collaboration and client-centered care. They have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including first-generation college students, undocumented individuals, and young adults.

Janet holds a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach.  They are fluent in English and Spanish, and are committed to providing culturally competent care to individuals of all backgrounds.
