Brenda is a board-certified Physician Assistant from Southern California. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of California in San Diego. She then completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still University in Arizona. After graduating, she returned to San Diego, where she discovered her passion for gastroenterology. She is excited to continue working in this field at Perlman Clinic. Brenda values building strong patient-provider relationships and emphasizes shared decision-making for optimal wellness. She believes that a healthy diet, along with caring for the mind, body, and spirit, is essential to overall well-being and is committed to a whole person approach to healthcare.

Outside of work, she enjoys playing beach volleyball, running, traveling, and spending time with her fiancé and their dog.
