Courtney Marshall, PsyD
“Psychologist, Friend, Advocate”
Courtney is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field. Her passion for supporting and empowering others stems from her own experiences navigating the legal and healthcare systems, learning to grow through life transitions, and discovering the importance of showing up authentically without fear of judgment. Courtney believes that healing begins with self-awareness, compassion, and feeling truly seen and understood.
Courtney has pursued extensive training to support individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, life transitions, identity development, relationship concerns, chronic pain, and challenges related to personal and professional growth. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, humanistic, and holistic, emphasizing the creation of a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients can reconnect with themselves, process difficult experiences, and move toward feeling whole again.
Drawing from Humanistic, Cognitive-Behavioral, Gestalt, mindfulness-based, and holistic therapy approaches, Courtney tailors treatment to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals. She believes that through developing self-awareness and collaboratively engaging in the therapy process, individuals can create meaningful and lasting change while strengthening their sense of empowerment, purpose, and authenticity.
Courtney earned her Bachelor’s degree in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, and Peacebuilding (NCRP) from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2014.
