Erike Rikeman, PMHNP-BC
Erika Rikeman, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in care for transitional-aged youth and young adults. She provides evidence-based, compassionate treatment for individuals experiencing anxiety, OCD, PMDD, depression/mood disorders, and feeding and eating disorders.
Erika earned her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Hawaiʻi Pacific University, and previously worked as a PMHNP at the UCSD Eating Disorders Clinic where she supported individuals with complex eating disorder presentations within a multidisciplinary treatment model. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse in pediatric behavioral health, pediatric emergency services, and clinical research, experiences which have shaped her informed approach to care.
Erika is particularly passionate about supporting young people during periods of transition, including changes related to education, work, relationships, identity development, and increasing independence. Her approach is collaborative and patient-centered, with an emphasis on building trust, providing education, and creating individualized treatment plans.
Erika strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to develop skills for long-term emotional well-being and resilience.
