Janice Lee, RDN
Janice Lee, MS, RDN, was born in San Francisco, CA, and raised in both Hong Kong and Los Angeles, CA. Janice earned her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She later pursued her passion for nutrition by earning a Master's degree in Nutrition from the University of Southern California (USC), with a focus on healthy aging and longevity. Drawing upon her strong scientific foundation, she continues to deepen her expertise in clinical nutrition by caring for patients in acute care settings with chronic medical conditions and weight-related concerns.
Janice's passion for nutrition began when she saw firsthand how nutrition helped improve her favorite uncle's well-being and quality of life during his battle with cancer. With her love of food and nutrition and experience working with diverse individuals, she believes that food is deeply connected to who we are—our preferences, history, culture, traditions, and identity—and therefore she takes an individualized approach to nutrition care. It is her passion and privilege to walk alongside her patients, helping them discover both the known and unknown aspects of their health journey with a focus on prevention and treatment.
Outside of work, Janice enjoys expressing her creativity in the kitchen by developing new recipes and continuously expanding her cooking skills. She also loves playing badminton, pickleball, and practicing yoga.
