Jennifer Black MD MS, Dipl ABOM

Jennifer Black is a double board-certified physician in Obesity Medicine and Internal Medicine, with a focus on personalized care for patients with obesity and prediabetes. After completing her undergraduate studies in Molecular Biology at the University of California, San Diego, she earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In addition, Jennifer holds a Master's Degree in Integrative and Functional Nutrition and is a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine since 2021.

Passionate about addressing the complexities of obesity and prediabetes, Jennifer is committed to helping her patients develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique life journey and health goals. She takes a holistic approach to care, recognizing the intersection of medical conditions and personal lifestyles.

Outside of her medical practice, Jennifer is married and the mother of three daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, whether walking their dog Leo, paddleboarding, or playing at the beach. As the mother of a neurodiverse daughter, Jennifer is especially dedicated to supporting neurodivergent individuals and patients with “different” abilities ensuring they feel heard, valued, and supported.
