Jojo Leveroni is Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 5 years of experience working in community-based mental health and private-practice settings. Her clinical experience began at Boston College, where she earned her Masters Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families.
Jojo has a passion for supporting individuals holistically to manage the natural ebbs and flows of life. Jojo has extensive experience working with teens, young adults, couples, and families experiencing a variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties. Her areas of expertise include: trauma, stress, anxiety, family conflicts, life transitions, depression, anger management, relationship issues, and substance use.
Jojo uses a strengths-based, integrative, trauma-informed, and goal-directed approach to help clients find solutions to their concerns and improve their daily lives. Her integrative clinical work includes EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. She has a passion for helping others learn about themselves and resolve issues that come up with friends, families, and their inner self. Jojo works diligently to be transparent and real with clients to create an open and safe environment where they can feel comfortable discussing anything without fear of judgment. Clients can expect to understand their symptoms, develop healthy coping skills and techniques, and utilize their strengths to reach their desired goals.
Outside of therapy sessions, Jojo can be found hiking, exercising, swimming, and adventuring outdoors with her golden retriever, Theo. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and cooking big dinners for friends and neighbors.
