Kafayat Adebiyi, PMHNP-BC

Kafayat Adebiyi’s passion for mental health has shaped both her personal and professional journey, and she finds meaning in helping others feel heard, understood, and supported. Kafayat has experience caring for individuals across the lifespan with a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and OCD, as well as older adults experiencing cognitive changes related to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Her clinical approach combines evidence-based medication management with warm, practical, and collaborative support, recognizing that effective care goes beyond medication and begins with understanding each person as a whole. She understands that seeking mental health care can sometimes feel intimidating and strives to create an affirming, judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable being themselves, asking questions, and taking an active role in their care. Kafayat wants her patients to leave each visit feeling heard, informed, and confident about the next steps in their treatment.

Outside of work, you can often find her trying a new restaurant, getting lost in a novel, planning her next trip, or convincing herself she has room for one more plant!
