Kathleen Weldon, LPCC
Katie is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California with 6 years of experience working in community-based and private practice settings. Her integrative clinical work includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, Feminist, and Mindfulness-based therapy modalities. Katie is an intersectional therapist who’s treatment explores the intersecting identities that influence each individual’s behaviors and mental health.
Katie integrates evidenced-based treatments when working with clients with relational trauma, anxiety, depression, life adjustments, military service, living with disabilities and chronic illness, and marital conflict. She has experience working with children, individuals, family systems, and a strong passion for couples therapy.
Outside of therapy sessions, Katie can be found reading, cooking with her family, and sitting in the sun on the beach for a little too long. Katie is a long-time military spouse and enjoys connecting with service members and their families, professionally and personally.
