Katie Roberts is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Azusa Pacific University. She went on to graduate from California State Long Beach with a Master of Social Work Degree. Katie is certified in Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP), Seeking Safety, Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and has a strong knowledge of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT).
Katie’s diverse experience includes working with infants, children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings ranging from outpatient care and short-term care. In the beginning of her career, Katie worked with children and adolescents in a community mental clinic. She then transitioned to a remote short term therapy program working with adults. She currently specializes in treating symptoms related to depression, stress, grief and loss, and anxiety, providing support to improve her client’s overall well-being.
