Marisol Barraza, PMHNP-BC
Marisol “Mare” Barraza is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in psychiatric care, beginning her career in acute inpatient nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Psychology and a Master of Science in Nursing with a Clinical Nurse Leader focus from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She later completed her Post-Master’s PMHNP program at the University of Cincinnati.
Marisol is passionate about whole-person care, integrating traditional medicine, psychotherapy, nutrition, and functional approaches to support mental wellness. She emphasizes individualized, compassionate treatment and values building strong, collaborative relationships with her clients.
Outside of her professional role, Marisol enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, singing, and exploring all genres of music.
