Marissa Gonzales is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with over five years of clinical experience supporting teens and adults. She earned her Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy from Loyola Marymount University, where she also received specialized training in Clinical Art Therapy.
Marissa works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, stress, and grief and loss. She has a particular passion for supporting young adults ages 18–29 as they navigate life transitions, identity development, and emotional wellbeing. Her background in clinical art therapy allows her to incorporate creative expression as a powerful tool for healing
and self-discovery.
Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), somatic techniques, solution-focused strategies, and art therapy.
