Melinda Kwong, PA-C
Melinda Kwong, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in psychiatry and mental health. A Southern California native, Melinda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from UCLA while serving the Los Angeles community as a Critical Care Transport EMT for several years.
Her interest in medicine then led her to pursue her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at California Baptist University. She has been working in psychiatry ever since and is trained in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with various psychiatric conditions.
She finds fulfillment in helping patients better understand their mental health and empowering them to take an active role in their care, while working with them to create individualized treatment plans. Beyond her work, Melinda enjoys rock climbing, board games, and spending quality time with her cat, Neptune!
