Rachel Albaugh, PA-C
Rachel Paganelli Albaugh, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant. Born and raised in Maryland, Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park. She began her healthcare career as a physical therapy technician at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center and expanded her experience as a clinical research assistant at the University of Maryland – Shock, Trauma, and Anesthesiology Research in Baltimore. She went on to complete her Certificate of Physician Assistant Studies and Master of Science in Health Sciences with a Physician Assistant concentration through the collaborative program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and Anne Arundel Community College.
After graduation, she launched her PA career in El Paso, Texas, serving alongside U.S. Border Patrol to provide medical care for under-served migrant populations. She then moved to Southern California, and has been dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care since November 2022. From coast to coast Rachel has been fortunate to get to know people from all walks of life which has taught her to value each individual’s unique experiences on their wellness journey. She is committed to providing holistic, patient-centered care that honors the whole person, not just the symptoms. Rachel brings empathy, kindness, and dedication to her work, offering support and guidance to her patients through their mental health journey.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys traveling, curling up with a good book, and spending meaningful time with friends and family.
