Ruth Juarez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California who has been practicing since 2016. Ruth received her Bachelors of Art in Psychology from UCSD and her Masters of Social Work from USC. Ruth’s therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, Strength Based approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, valued based treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and a person-centered framework. These techniques are tailored to help her clients reach specific needs with the aim of developing greater awareness and self-acceptance.
Ruth has experience providing bilingual (Spanish-English) therapy to teens, adults, couples and families. She believes her clients bring their own expertise to the therapeutic process.
When she’s not working, Ruth enjoys dancing, jewelry making, video editing, and the outdoors.
