Sasha Speare, FNP-BC

Sasha Speare, FNP-BC completed her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing at Columbia University in the City of New York City. She obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree in Environmental Science with an emphasis in Global Health from Northwestern University. 

She gained her extensive ten year pain management experience at OC Pain Management and SC Spine and Sport. It was there that she learned the technical, emotional, and empathic skills to manage chronic pain patients. She has been mentored in the way of comprehensive pain management. This includes conservative medication management, injections, interpretation of diagnostic results such as X-rays, MRIs, and EMG/NCVs, holistic medicine, and psychological care. She has experience with spinal conditions, chronic migraines, osteoarthritis, CRPS, joint and muscular pain, cancer, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, and acute injuries.

Sasha also has experience in Suboxone for both pain management and weaning of opiates. In her internship year, she managed patients for numerous Suboxone Management in the Bronx, NY. She has additional education to treat opiate addicted patients with Medication Assisted Therapy.

She is fluent in Spanish and has treated numerous patients bilingually. Her experience studying abroad in Madrid, Spain and working at a clinic in the Dominican Republic has gained her the linguistic skills to communicate effectively with patients.

In her free time, Sasha enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and Curly Coated Retriever. She loves spending time by the ocean, cooking, hiking, and golfing.
